Training students to faithfully follow Jesus
Christian Challenge of Wichita is the collegiate ministry of River Community Church. We are a registered student organization at Wichita State University, but we welcome all college-aged individuals (18-24 years old) in the Greater Wichita Area, regardless of their collegiate affiliation or participation. Our vision is to train students to faithfully follow Jesus in all that He calls them to do. We meet every Thursday evening from 7:30-8:30 pm at River Community Church while school is in session. We'd love for you to come join us as we explore the person and teachings of Jesus Christ together through musical worship, a message from Scripture, and time building relationships over post-service pancakes.
Christian Challenge also offers weekly student-led small group Bible studies, where students can learn about and practice loving God, loving one another, and loving their non-believing neighbors. Small groups for both college men and women meet at various times and locations Monday through Wednesday. You can find out more information on the small groups page.
